If Things Don’t Work Out, You Can Always Go To Law School

As Seth Godin writes, this is probably the most shared poem on YouTube.

For those, like me, who learn by saying things out loud – poetry is at it’s best when it’s off the page. That’s why poetry slam events were some of my favourite evenings while I lived in Berlin, where there is a huge English-language slam-poetry scene.

Although this is Taylor’s most well-known poem, it’s really worth taking some time to watch his other performances. They’re witty, powerful, and made me see 7th-graders in a new light!
