creating a world of joyful belonging

What she talks about relates to Our Common Place nicely. She discusses the power of networks, co-operation and the building of shared values and identities to create change. From our angle, the question I would have is whether the communities we are working with recognise the need for change (the fact that their community is declining) at all and whether they have the capacity / the political power to instigate change?
It also relates to what I was writing the other day on the U Movement – letting go of past models, ‘learning from the future as it emerges’ and action learning. http://wastewatch.wordpress.com/2012/02/07/learning-from-the-future-as-it-emerges/
